Cleaning

The well-being of our guests is always at the forefront of our minds and, following the Coronavirus outbreak, this has become even more important.

We are following all up-to-date environmental health and Scottish Government guidelines when cleaning and preparing our accommodation. The products that we use have been chosen to ensure they are effective against the Covid-19 virus.

Our team is experienced in cleaning to a very high standard, we have thoroughly taken on board government guidelines and have implemented these into our cleaning procedures.

We pay particular attention to touch points within our holiday cottages and have an extensive cleaning checklist to prepare all accommodation for the next guests.

All removable items will either be cleaned thoroughly or replaced with new for the next guests.

All our bedlinen, tea towels and cloths are laundered at a minimum of 60 degrees as per industry recommendations. Each of our pillows and duvets are fitted with protectors which are also changed after every use, cushions are disinfected using appropriate upholstery sanitiser which is effective against Covid-19. Please note, we do not provide towels, so please bring your own.

Hand sanitiser will be provided for your use.

Cancellations due to Covid-19

These are uncertain times and so if you are unable to travel due to mandatory government restrictions advising against travel then be reassured that we would be very happy to rearrange your holiday dates or provide a full refund.

Our area depends on tourism and is full of small businesses like ours so of course we would be delighted to welcome you another time.

Please see our standard terms and conditions with regards to cancellation in other situations.

Suspected Covid-19 Cases and guest self-isolation

Guests should under no circumstances travel to us if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 or suspect they may have contracted the virus.

During your stay if you are a member of your party displays symptoms of Covid-19 then you must notify us immediately. You must then (as per current guidelines) self-isolate by checking out and returning home immediately.

Social Distancing Measures

Given the strict guidelines around social distancing we have taken into account any areas that you may be required to social distance. However our cottages are situated in a private area and have no shared facilities.

We do kindly ask all guests to remain mindful of the need to socially distance as you walk in and out of the farm.
